About The Alumni Association
Purpose of the CMR University Alumni Association is to maintain a lifelong relationship with the alumni by informing, engaging and inspiring them to stay connected with their Alma mater, and thereby support the vision of the University and contribute towards its success.
With an aim to expand our alumni network, we have partnered with Alma Shines for alumni-engagement activities at the University.
We have the privilege of leading active alumni engagement that has contributed to significant results in competence building, skill development of our students and faculty members.
To strengthen collaboration between the CMRU Alumni and the University in the areas of academics, career counseling and job placements, some of the engagement activities we have undertaken are:
- Inviting alumni to associate with their Alma mater and encouraging them to stay connected through latest technology digitally or in person through regular visits to the University.
- Annual Alumni Meetings by CMRians - every first Sunday in August.
- Formation of Alumni Chapters in major cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.
- Upskilling initiatives for current students.
- Creating networking and incubation facilities for CMRU Alumni members.

Formation of the Alumni Association is also one of our transformational initiatives that is aimed at actively engaging our esteemed Alumni, in a host of activities of CMR University; to thereby become partners in our overall growth story.
We view our Alumni as our Brand Ambassadors, and invite them to contribute to their Alma mater in various capacities so that our current students are also inspired to drive positive global change.
